C1D1 (Classification 1, Division 1) is a safety classification based on the NEC (National Electrical Code) Article 500 and referenced by the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Publication 70. Division 1 is defined as a location where vapors are present all the time, meaning they are present greater than or equal to 10% of the time.
C1D1 Labs are an essential component of any licensed and safe cannabis extraction lab. The classified space, or hazardous space, is where all of the volatile extraction processes take place and where extraction solvents like butane, propane, or ethanol are stored safely.
H&H offers C1D1 solutions in both shipping containers and traditional modular rooms. Our C1D1 labs come fully engineered and peer reviewed, and can be built to meet customer specifications. We offer a range of sizes and options including cGMP to ensure that manufacturers of consumable products guarantee that their products are effective, safe, and pure.
